Valley Arts presents Natural Born Thrillers with Doug Allan
'Wildlife Cameramen don't come much more special than Doug Allan.' Sir David Attenborough.
A BAFTA award winning wildlife cameraman, Doug is performing in the Chew Valley for the first time at a benefit evening for Valley Arts.
This will be an evening for all the family to remember as Doug recounts his extraordinary adventures filming wildlife in some of the world’s most extreme environments and in particular the north and south polar regions.
Capturing amazing images and film footage both above and below the water, he has worked on classic BBC series such as The Blue Planet, Frozen Planet and Ocean Giants, and his photographic images have been published in magazines and books around the world.
Doug’s photographic awards include eight Emmy’s and five BAFTA’s and he has twice won the underwater category in Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Doug will be signing copies of his book Freeze Frame (£25) on the evening.
Supported by Mya Rose Craig - Chew Valley's very own Bird Girl.
